Sebastian is a German composer and artist based in Berlin. Born in Poland and raised in the Münsterland region of Germany, he studied Music & Technology in the Netherlands and the UK, where his professional career began in the late 1990s as a sound engineer and musician in several renowned Liverpool studios, including Elevator, Motor Museum, and Parr Street Studios.

Over time, his focus shifted increasingly toward composition and music production. His work has been published by a range of international music publishers specializing in production music, such as Mediatracks Music Ltd, ROBA Publishing, and RipCue Music, leading to placements in film, advertising, and television productions.

In addition to his publishing work, Sebastian has composed music for a variety of commissioned projects in recent years, particularly in the fields of augmented reality, virtual reality, and corporate media. His solo discography includes several well-received released albums, such as Sympathetic Resonance (2014), Dimi Remembered (2018), and Shy Dancer (2023), alongside a growing number of singles that explore the intersection of ambient, neoclassical, and electronic music.

A central element of his creative process is a midified 1907 Bechstein upright piano — affectionately named Mme Bechstein — which often serves as the starting point for his compositions. His music frequently explores the boundaries between classical and contemporary electronic forms, aiming to create emotionally resonant soundscapes. Artists such as Max Richter, Ólafur Arnalds, and Nils Frahm serve as contemporary reference points, while his early influences include Brian Eno, Ennio Morricone, and Pink Floyd.

In 2024, Sebastian completed the original score for the documentary Chasing The Light (directed by Samuel Nunez), scheduled for release in 2025. That same year, he launched the video podcast Studio Diaries on YouTube, offering regular insights into his creative process through improvisations, new works, and experimental sessions — an ongoing project that continues to attract a growing audience.
