// Piotr
Sebastian announces the upcoming release of his new single, Piotr—a quiet, deeply personal tribute to his late brother, who passed away from cancer earlier this year. The single will be available in two versions: a piano solo and an arranged version that layers felt piano with atmospheric textures, including tape loops and subtle ambient elements.
Though not a musician himself, Piotr was Morawietz’s greatest supporter and a devoted listener, with a deep love for the iconic music of the 60s and 70s. To honor that connection, the track was mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Cicely Balston—an homage to a shared reverence for music and sound.
“This piece means a great deal to me,” Sebastian shares. “It’s a quiet farewell, but also a celebration of who Piotr was—his warmth, his love for music, and everything he stood for.”
The single’s artwork pays tribute to another of Piotr’s lifelong passions: his favorite football club, VfL Bochum. Piotr is both a personal remembrance and a musical offering—an invitation to reflect, remember, and find stillness in sound.
