// Reflections

Reflections is a new mini album by Berlin-based composer and pianist Sebastian Morawietz, featuring six original pieces for piano and three accompanying variations. The works were initially composed for Chasing The Light, an upcoming film directed by Samuel Nuñez, set for release in 2025.

Developed during the scoring process, the pieces carry a quiet, introspective character—marked by flowing melodies and subtle shifts in tone. The album also includes contributions from cellist Eurico Ferreira Mathias, whose restrained, expressive playing introduces a complementary layer of depth and texture.

“I recorded the pieces on my Bechstein Felt Piano in Berlin,” Sebastian notes. “It’s a very personal collection—minimal and calm. In a way, I hope it offers listeners a small pause, a space to reflect and breathe for a moment.”
